Fly to Koh Samui
Flying to Koh Samui is quick and comfy! Just a heads up: direct flights might cost a bit more since Samui International Airport is privately owned by Bangkok Airways. If you're looking to save some cash, you can also fly to Surat Thani and take a bus and ferry to Koh Samui. It's a fun, budget-friendly adventure with several airlines to choose from!
Train and Ferry to Koh Samui
Traveling to Koh Samui from Bangkok? Hop on the overnight train to Surat Thani Town and save on a hotel night! Then, catch a ferry from Donsak Pier to one of the island's lovely piers: Nathon, Maenam, or Bangrak (the closest pier to the resort). It's a fun adventure that lets you soak up mainland Thailand, and if you travel in the evening, you'll be treated to a stunning sunset over the water!

Resort Shuttle
If you book your stay at Banana Fan Sea Resort with us, you will get free car service from the airport to the hotel. Just give the hotel your flight information and they’ll take care of you!
Local Transportation
There are many options to get around the island. You can hop on motorbike taxis, regular taxis, or open cars (called “Songthaew” in Thai) that take you on fixed routes around the island. Ride apps are also available, but here we don’t use Uber; we use Grab so make sure to download the app and set it up beforehand (also applicable to Bangkok!).
